Introduction to Adblade

Adblade is the largest content-style ad platform on the Internet. They are not too dissimilar from sponsored content ad networks Taboola and Outbrain, though they do require that their publishers receive a minimum of 500,000 monthly pageviews, to keep the inventory at a high level of quality for their advertisers. They claim that the content-style ad units receive three times more clicks than standard display ads. Their editorial team consists of over 100 employees who are attracted to the ad network by the chance to have their voice heard through publishing.

Publishers must meet certain criteria in order to be accepted onto the Adblade platform, including minimum pageviews per month, geographic location, and type of content. Once publishers are accepted into the platform, they are given an editor's account that allows them to create ad units that are specific to their website or publication. Adblade then begins to offer ads on the publisher's website. These ads look very similar to editorial content on both desktop and mobile devices.

  • What We Like: Paid content is a relatively new and untapped distribution channel, virtually real-time stats.
  • What We Don’t Like: High traffic minimum to get started, ads can appear somewhat spammy.

Publisher Requirements

As a publisher, that is, the site that displays ads from Adblade in order to get paid, you need to meet their strict requirements. Specifically, you need at minimum half a million monthly pageviews. That’s 500,000. That’s a lot of traffic! You can try this service, it maybe help you. It’s well beyond the reach of most small affiliate sites, which also puts it beyond the reach of the vast majority of small-time black hat spammers.

On the surface, Adblade is very much like other services, like Outbrain. They specialize in native ads, those ads that look like small “related posts” thumbnails along side articles on large news sites and blogs. The only thing to differentiate them from native ads, really, is the small gray “advertisement” label in the corner. If you’re not paying attention – and who is? – they slip right through.

Adblade was caught in a pretty juicy scandal a few months ago when it was discovered that they were sending out fake domain age to ad networks. Whenever one of their ads would run on an ad network, the network would count that site as being valid and see that it’s been online for a while, and increase the value of that impression. This is a boon to Adblade, since publishers have to pay for impressions based on how valuable they are. That means thousands of small blog owners have been giving away ad revenue unknowingly.

This scheme is up and running as of this writing, but the Adblade rep I spoke to claims that they have stopped it and that all of their publishers are now on board with their program. As far as I’m aware, there is no way of verifying this: the outside world can’t crawl ad servers and look at which sites people see Adblade ads on.

Since we don’t know how prevalent ad fraud is (read: likely rampant), it seems like a good idea not to trust any site, even one as seemingly legitimate as Adblade. was eventually stopped by Google’s new traffic-quality initiatives, but up until then Adblade was making millions off of the scheme. founded in 2008, making it relatively young for a display ad network. They have around 1,700 followers on Facebook and an A+ ranking with the Better Business Bureau.

So what do they ask of publishers? Unfortunately, that’s pretty much unknown unless you fit their requirements. We know the 500,000 monthly views figure – that’s around 17,000 per day on average, for those at home – but that’s it. Their contract, their terms, and any content restrictions are unknown.

Advertiser Requirements

As for advertisers, they accept all verticals but they have restrictions on the quality of the content. They don’t want to send people to thin sites, scam sites or affiliate sites, of course. They prefer legitimate blogs and businesses, and for good reason. Far too many ad networks fall victim to a profusion of low quality sites on both ends of the spectrum. Adblade combats this by being hyper-exclusive. They also restrict long-tail sites, specifically because using a long-tail domain name is a modern day sign of spam.

One thing t hat I haven’t addressed yet is the actual payouts. It’s a daily payout, 15% on all sales- this means a sale on a $9.99 product will net you $0.54 while a sale on a $50 product will net you $3.50. These are industry standard rates for online advertising, and while they might seem low, remember that it’s 15% of your sales- not your ad revenue or some other metric that excludes affiliate commissions from the equation.

And, again, one thing to keep in mind is that content is king when it comes to Adblade's requirements for advertisers and publishers alike: quality content ranked in Google and with social media engagement .hey don’t regulate, however, is the nature of the titles they promote. Very often, you’ll find that ads promoted by Adblade tend to have somewhat clickbait-style headlines. They’re nothing so bad as what you see on Upworthy or Buzzfeed naturally, at least. Think more along the lines of the ads on Cracked or the Weather Channel website. This does occasionally have the side effect of looking spammy, but then, who cares? The sites that are big enough to use Adblade are big enough to shrug off a minor impression of spam.

Adblade has built the AdbladeCoin (ADB) cryptocurrency on Ethereum. It was released in early 2017, but has seen little development since that time. It's currently not listed on coinmarketcap.com, though that might change soon. Let's see how it fares over the coming months.

I'll say this for AdBlade– it wants to be a very legitimate ad network, and they've shown a willingness to police the quality of their content- one reason why they aren't among Google's approved third-party advertisers is because of their quality filters, which are supposed to have 100% accuracy. a range of ad unit sizes, various rectangles designed to fit with other website designs. Publishers should pick ad units that best fit with their native style, such as the natural 300×600 footer ads or the 120×90 mobile newsbullet ads.

Benefits of Adblade

One benefit of Adblade is their allowance of Google AdSense. This helps both publishers and advertisers keep track of traffic through their native analytics. It’s always good to have firsthand verification of secondhand statistics.

So how does it work? Rather than as a publisher relying on AdBlade to fill all your advertisements, they will merely suggest advertisements that you can insert into your site. It’s up to you if you want to accept the suggested ads or not. All it takes is a few minutes.

AdBlade has over 400 million page views and over 4 billion impressions per month worldwide. More than 35 million unique users visit their site monthly and there are no delivery or viewability issues. You can easily design and create an ad campaign that runs with accurate analytics and detailed tracking information, with just a few clicks of the mouse! To find out more about this program, go here: http://www.adblade. it all perform? As an advertiser, it’s actually a very good network, so long as you find the right niche. They accept any vertical, but some verticals have much better demographics through the network than others. For example, with Fox News as a primary publisher, you can’t really find much success with pro-liberal ads. Of course, part of that is all about presentation.

Our Experience

Maybe the greatest road obstruction past the organization's selectiveness is the cost. As a sponsor, you're paying to get individuals to your site. Some advertisement organizations can give you clicks going from one penny to 15 or 20 pennies for each snap. Adblade will in general float around 50 pennies to a dollar for each snap for most verticals, with a portion of the greater rivalry verticals ascending much higher than that.

I do have one significant problem with Adblade, and that is with their help. For instance, it's exceptionally simple to neglect to add the Adblade following pixel to the advertisements you run, so the promotions will not be advanced. You'll wind up running on not so great situating, missing out on possible profit. Reaching their help to assist with this will get you through the issue, yet you're not going to get a discount or even any genuine pleasant treatment. They're accustomed to managing gigantic organizations, so their capacity to satisfy individual independent ventures is restricted.

As a result of the cost related with purchasing traffic from Adblade, you truly should be in the right business to make a benefit. You can't run CPM advertisements on your site and hope to do something besides lose cash. All things being equal, you need to have high worth offers or results of your own to sell. Volume will not do it except if you have an exceptionally high change rate.

One inquiry you need to pose to yourself before you choose to work with Adblade, in any case, is the amount you care about the standing of the business and their dealings outside of the mechanics of their organization. For this situation, Adblade has been the wellspring of a ton of negative press identifying with how they rival their immediate rivals, other prominent and top notch advertisement organizations. In particular, in this occurrence, I'm thinking about their bombed legal dispute against Broadspring, which appeared to uncover them as liars chasing more traffic for themselves.

Presently, in the event that you don't mind what the business does as such long as their traffic is genuine, then, at that point you will generally approve of Adblade. In case you're somewhat more worried about the profound quality of supporting an organization that lies about their rivals to excel, you should reconsider.
