HOW TO CHOOSE AN OFFER FROM THE CPA AFFILIATE NETWORK
There are thousands of offers on CPA networks - so which one should we choose?
Someone said you have to find the offer reports, sorted by sales. Others say offers based on conversion rates.
Many other affiliates love to test new offers, and there are also affiliates like me - love to test offers that have proven convertible.
There are two ways to find offers that have proven effective. You can use a spy tool like Adplexity and see what other affiliate ads are running.
Or, if you want less effort, simply ask the affiliate manager what offers are effective and which offers are having a large volume on the network.
English: which offers are proven, which ones are doing good volume on the network that you recommend.
I do that very often. In the example in this post, I spoke with Fabi in Gotzha.
He texts back and introduces 3 different GEOs, all of which are sweepstakes. There are two of them, the iPhone X, and the third one is the Samsung Galaxy.
If you do not know what sweepstakes are, it is the type of offer where users fill in the information and do surveys to have a chance of winning. The survey is quite long. Many people only make 80% and then give up. It is very difficult, but if they do, they have a chance to accept the award.
Sweepstakes reminds me of memory with affiliate marketing.
TIPS: Don't ignore offers at non-English-speaking GEOs.
The GEOs have the same title. The only difference is that the idea is more competitive. All you need to do is translate the landing page into a language that users can understand.
I suggest you use Transey for translation, it is 40% cheaper than 1-hour translation, and all translations are from native speakers.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE GOOGLE TRANSLATION. It's not right. The sentence it translates will be lame. But for this type of sweepstakes, if the sentence is lame, unprofessional, it is very difficult to convince.
S2S PIXEL SETUP - CONNECT TO CPA NETWORK (TRACKING SETUP).
This is a must-do. We need to connect our S2S (Server to server Pixel) to the CPA network to ensure receiving statistics.

But if you do not know what the postback URL is, it is a link that the CPA network places on their system so that when you have a conversion, the CPA network will send parameters (also known as Sub ID) to the tracking software.

SPY WAY TO GET ANGLE IDEAS AND FIND PROFITABLE LANDING PAGES
Spy tools are nothing new. A few years ago, I wrote articles about the best spy tools. Now that it's much more modern, you can find advertisements for affiliates within seconds.
Some affiliates claim that the best ads will be hidden, and the creators of this spy tool will keep it for use, only release when the ad is out of business, or even never public...
This conspiracy theory may be correct. And many people think that going to Spy, using virtual machines and proxies in many different countries, hiding the user agent ... is generally enough of all types.
Comedy, basically a spy system that saves you time and effort, much more economical than hiring people to spy manually. That's why a few hundred dollars a month is a cheap fruit. It's the cost of buying opportunities, knowledge, and time.
To spy on Push and Pops, I've always liked to use Adplexity, which is a tool created by someone on STM. It really works, of course, because the majority of the players on the forum are experts in pop and push.
As for Facebook, I often use MagicAdz, which is the tool that Facebook advertisers recommend.
Since we are going to run the sweepstakes, and we currently don't know what landing page or advertising resources to use, we haven't even decided which traffic source to use yet. So I started spy and show you the results below.
The first thing we need to do is to open the link given by the affiliate manager to go to the offer page to see how.
Next, we will take this link and bring it into the spy tool.

Next, I use a proxy to see the link because many of the links on the CPA network are international outbound links.
This means that if you are not in the country the offer wants, they will redirect you to another page. Some offers are even more drastic. They check the user's user agent.
Some offers need to have the correct mobile network in order for them to show the offer page.
I use HideMyAss's VPN and use an IP address from German.

We'll take the domain name, which is 1a-gewinner.de - and insert it into the Adplexity search box.
First, log in to Adplexity, then click on the word BY ADVERTISER, select "all of the above," then paste your domain name into it.
See instructions as shown below.
Then you can see the ads and landing page appear. Not enough, we need to sort by which advertising resources are getting the most traffic.
OK, we got the results and found the best landing page (because it has the most traffic - more traffic means profit).
All are landing pages, and we can download them by clicking the check box, then downloading, extracting them.
It's very easy to rip your landing page on Adplexity. The only problem is many affiliates. They hide scripting on javascript, CSS, encrypted text, ...
So if you just take the landing page from Adplexity and upload it to the server, you probably won't make any money.
The chances are that the landing page owner will get free traffic because they have the script code to steal the traffic from you. People often call it to click jackers or click stealers.
So I suggest you use Banners & Landers to clean your landing page. There are pro-type coders that will help you. You can even ask them to redo the landing page from scratch, write some more exclusive code for you.
Important: When you ask Banners & Landers to fix the landing page or clean the code ... by default, they will edit it for you but will not put it on the tracking link. They will place the link where that link is "YOUR LINK HERE" ... or similar.
You can edit and update yourself - but I usually ask them to put a link for me. I send them my affiliate link. Save time.
When there is only one offer on the landing page, you can put the link like this:

Note: If you are using the tracking HTTPS link, you must also update your landing page to HTTPS. Make it fit to avoid causing trouble.

I know this because I did App Installs a year ago. Choosing the right icon will help increase clicks. I also used to make battery submits on Google Display Network. I learned that the PLAY button, the DOWNLOAD button are very important. Push is the same. The idea here is that you need to find symbols that attract high CTR.

STRANGE TRICKS TO INCREASE PROFITS ON TRAFFIC SOURCES.
This trick has been around for a long time. Whether you know it or not, it also increases profits, with only a few minutes of setup. Ready?
BACK BUTTON REDIRECT. Basically, when a user sees their landing page that they don't like, they press the BACK button - they will be redirected to another page.
You can find the script code on the STM forum. I'm sure they have clear instructions on how to use it. Or you can ask Banners & Landers to help you.
There is one more trick. If you want to protect your landing page, avoid others to prevent them from stealing traffic? That means you want free traffic from them. Then ask Banners & Landers to let them insert the script code.
UPLOAD LANDING PAGE TO WEBSITE.
I asked Banners & Landers to re-code all-new landing pages for me - based on the ones I found and re-code.
I chose 2 landing pages in German. And if you have an English landing page, use Transey or Onehourtranslation to translate it) - they all have native translators. Should not use Google translate.
But if you are new and do not have a website, you can make a domain name and host to upload your website. You can find a shared host or dedicated server, VPS ... depending. In the restricted area, there are instructions for you to use Amazon S3 host - both cheap and quality.
Sharing host is cheap, but you will share the same host with hundreds of other people. If someone runs to bandwidth, it will slow down the whole server.
My own server is in the US, but since I am running European traffic, I will find VPS in Europe, to have extremely fast loading speed (this is a trick to speed up the load, remember.
Domain names should use NameCheap - very beneficial.
The upload landing page I use FileZilla. Extremely simple, drag and drop only. You can use Google to learn more if you don't already know.
After the landing page upload is finished, I access the link to make sure everything is fine.
Now that we've set up our advertising resources, we start setting up the tracker.
HOW TO SET UP A TRACKER USING RED TRACK
I will create a new campaign on RedTrack, will add 2 landing pages, offer links from the CPA network.
If you do not know, then ok, I will guide you enthusiastically:
First, log into track.
After that, we need to add the traffic source.
One great thing about RedTrack is that they have a pretty ok set up already, so you don't need to do it manually anymore. Just choose the traffic source and press ADD.
After ADD is done, it always leads to a page called New Custom Traffic Source - so we can set it up ourselves if we want. I feel fine, so I press SAVE.
Having set up the traffic source, we will now add CPA Network. The CPA network I am using is Gotzha.
Go back to the main menu. Click on Network, select NEW.
It's very easy to add a CPA Network, as it is similar to the traffic source. So I found the Gotzha network and clicked ADD.
It will show you a confirmation screen so you can check the tracking data, and you can customize it if you want. When done, click Save.
OK, the campaign will now be created.
SET UP CAMPAIGN PART 1
On Dashboard, select campaign.
Continue, select NEW.
Continue, we fill in the name of the campaign, choose the source of traffic, choose the domain name to track. Select HTTP 302 redirect with hidden referral. For protocol choose HTTPS.
At the campaign cost, I chose Do Not Track, because in many cases, it is random and constantly changes.
Continue.
CAMPAIGN SETUP PART 2
In this section, we will upload the landing page to FTP.
We will test two offers, one is to win an iPhone X and the other is a media market gift certificate. So we need to split the test. Basically, each landing page will be used to test two offers.
We are going to divide the traffic into two, 50% going to offer 1 and another 50% going to offer 2.
Each tracker tool is similar. For RedHat, I set it up like this:
Create 2 Stream:
For Stream 1. Select New Lander - it will open a new page. You fill in the landing page and link and save it.
Next, click on New offer, then copy and paste the offer name, select the affiliate network, fill in the payout, URL of the offer, if there must be & s2 = {clickid}, select the country and save it.
Next
Once you've finished Steam 1, do the same with Steam 2.
Once done, we take the campaign URL and prepare to set up advertising on the traffic source.
To get the campaign URL, click on the icon like the arrow indicated.
HOW TO SET UP CAMPAIGNS ON TRAFFIC SOURCES
Now we will set up the Push Notifications campaign. I decided to choose the network that sent me the most emails. That is PropellerAds.
I look at the Traffic Chart and see their average CPC - that's about $ 0.6 for CPC and 0.54 for CPM. My strategy is to start with CPC, and after I find a successful ad, I'll switch to CPM to increase my CTR.
OK, start setup:
Click on Campain, name the campaign, choose the ad type as Push Notifications. Bidding method selects CPC. Copy the link from Red track and paste it into the enter target URL.
Go ahead. Setup is pretty straightforward. In the national place, choose German - Germany. The Technologies site chose desktop and mobile (it is better to split desktop and mobile into two campaigns, but for now, I want to show you how to do it quickly).
Where frequency cap should choose 1 / 24, do not choose more because it will cost money and also annoy the user.
A lot of places I left blank because I have not tested them, so I do not know which zone ID is effective. After pulling some traffic, we will know which zone IDs are effective and which Zone IDs are ineffective.
Tip: It is possible to contact the traffic source to ask the best zone IDs to target and block multiple zone IDs ineffective, but since I couldn't find help with this traffic source, I had to do it myself.
Next, they'll tell us how many impressions they have, and they suggest a CPC price. I choose the highest CPC because my daily budget is $ 25, and my maximum campaign budget is $ 100 to test 2 landing pages and 2 offers in Germany. I usually calculate like this. If the offer paid $ 2.9, then we would spend 4 times for each ad resource.
That means if we have 2 offers, 2 landing pages, that means there are 4 variables. So, we will test 16 * 2.9 = $ 40.
After that, we will add 4 ad templates. That is, we have 4 ads, 2 landing pages, 2 offers = 8 variables. That is 8 * 4 * 2.9 = $ 80. I have prepared $ 100 to test if it worked or not.
How much traffic can there be? According to the reporting tool, I saw about 78,000 traffic. We won't get all the traffic, but for this article, I will assume all traffic will be.
Assuming I get 78,000 impressions in total, then with a 1% CTR of Push Notifications, 780 people will click on my landing page. Not enough to scale. But we will learn how to set up and then be able to test other traffic sources.
I create ad templates, upload campaigns. Then wait. My ad is aggressive. I want to see how far I can go. From experience, I know my ad is quite good, will have a decent CTR.
I used to run a large volume with App Installs many years ago. One of the angles that have given me a fortune is You have a virus!
This Angle was widely run at Google Display Network, and then it was banned after the March 31, 2013 update. And after that, app install has grown in every corner.
Back to the article, we will wait for them to review the ad, maybe minutes, hours, even days.
Congratulations that you have read this far. When you run the familiar campaign, it is not difficult at all, humming. Now I will take screenshots and explain to make it easy for you to reach. I found that I shared a lot of knowledge.
There are too many things to prepare, optimize. By now, you know how to choose offers, know how to spy and find a landing page, know how to upload a landing page to a server, know how to set up a campaign with RedTrack, and you also know how to set up a campaign on traffic sources.
Next, we will have to deal with rejection. Rejection, it happens a lot at affiliate marketing - advertising is rejected constantly. We also need to review the system to make sure everything is working ok, and fix all possible errors.
After a few hours, I received a disapproval email.

HOW TO COPE WITH THE PROBLEMS THAT ARISE WHEN RUNNING YOUR CAMPAIGNS.
I clicked my tongue and did some other advertisements.
Push Notifications is not like Adword or Facebook. You only need 1 advertisement for each campaign. So you need to create many campaigns with many different ad templates.
After I finished, I went to bed, the next morning I saw this:
The red and blue frames are okay. The rest are too lame.
Then I open the tracker and see the following:
The traffic source says there are 1245 clicks, and the tracker tells me there are 1226 clicks. That is 19 clicks lost. So where did those 19 clicks go?
I remember that I have set up DigitalOcean VPS in Germany already. That will help me make sure the landing page will load really fast. But there are 19 clicks left. If you set up a server in the US, there are probably more clicks, not just 19 clicks. So the speed of the server, the speed of the tracker is very important.
Continuing, we will look at the information on RedTrack to see which angles convert the best, which ad resources are the best, and see if there are erroneous settings.
The first problem is that I don't see a conversion number on RedTrack. So it is impossible to know which advertisement, zone ID, a landing page is the best.
So that means that we have set up the wrong postback URL somewhere. We need to come back, fix, make sure everything is working properly. And must upload the conversion manually.
Go to Gotzha, click Report, choose Conversion Report.
Then, look for SUB ID 2.
The tracker will pass to the affiliate network the ClickID so that it can track the conversion. If the frame is empty, then there is no stupid. In short, you set it up wrong. You may have forgotten to add & s2 = {clickid} to the link given by the affiliate manager.
We need to export it to a CSV file. Open it with Google spreadsheet. You will set up as shown below, then save.
Next, we will manually upload to RedTracker.

OPTIMIZED, REMOVED PLACEMENT, AND INEFFECTIVE ADS.
But as we can see, landing page 2 converts better.
We will look at Zone ID. By clicking on Subs> Zone ID> filter by a number of clicks. We paid $ 0.11 per click, got 202 clicks, and cost about $ 22. With 3 conversions with a commission of 2.9 Euros per conversion, we have about -50% ROI.
The second Zone ID has ID 2152268 - it sends us 114 clicks, 0 conversions. We paid 12-13 dollars for this placement, and there was no sale. And based on my recipe, which means I only spend 4 times the price to test, I should block this placement right now. And the other ones are temporarily left there.
Next, we check to track to see which campaign is good (because we only have one ad for each campaign), so we need to check which one is best.
Next - campaign optimization.
Fix the postback URL so that there is no need to manually upload anymore.
Fix the price on the landing page (this is wrong because I used a Samsung Galaxy 9 landing page and sent the user to the iPhone offer).
Based on the data obtained
Blacklist Placement Placement That Has Tested Four Times More Money - And Still Not Profitable.
Turn off all ad resources, keeping only the one with the highest CTR. Create 2 - 3 variations of it.
Run traffic to better offers, and turn off the cuffs.
I put in the traffic source $ 200 again and let it run.
More than 24 hours later.
I got this… catastrophic - even worse, even optimal results.
Are you expecting $ 1000 in profit? Ha Ha, if so, I'm afraid you've seen too many videos of bogus experts. Making money is so easy.
You see, affiliate marketing has 90% failures, 10% successes. That's why you have to test, test, test, use a tracker, observe data, and find gold every day.
Taking a closer look at the data, I saw this.
The 1678701 is at its best. It has an EPC of around $ 0.053. And we're paying $ 0.08 CPC.
What should we do next?
If it cannot be profitable, then we will stop and test other GEOs and other offers suggested by the affiliate manager.
I will add $ 100 to the traffic source.
I will stop all other campaigns.
And just run campaign 1678701
I will not change the bid price or any other factors.
I will update the best landing page, update images, testimonials, use local names, test new photos.
BONUS: I also got the best angle, the best landing page / offer, the funnel, and tried advertising on Megapush as well. Many people always say to test, test, test, but do not clearly explain how to test, how to test. But I will show you.
B&L made me 3 different header images and also provided names and pictures of people in testimonials. They converted it into PHP with dynamic input, meaning I now have a landing page and just fill in the parameters. So now I add the variables to the landing page and start pulling traffic, collecting data.
24 hours later.
The split testing was effective, and the EPC went from $ 0.053 to $ 0.686! It's still not enough, unfortunately. Why? Because there are many zones that do not convert.
I checked the sweepstakes campaign and looked for ineffective Zone IDs on the redtrack.
OK, now we will jump in and block the ineffective Zone IDs. The one that costs x4 times the commission and is still ineffective is that we block all. I have just blocked more than 30 zones.
This is the 80/20 rule in affiliate marketing. If 80% of the placements don't have prospects, it might be hard to make a profit because when you block the bad placement, there's very little space left to scale.
OK, we will now move on to the Megapush campaign.
In the end, the effort has been paid off. Landing page 2 with images 2 and 3 has the best conversions. ECP over 7 cents.
We pay 6 cents for a click, and until now, we have found profits. The next step is to cut out ineffective landing pages, find more ineffective zone IDs on MegaPush and block it. It will definitely help increase ROI.
HOW TO OPTIMIZE THE MEGA PUSH CAMPAIGN.
Sadly, the 1st source of traffic did not make us profitable. It doesn't mean the traffic source is bad - it just might not be suitable for GEO / Vertical. That is why many people often say that it is necessary to test different traffic sources. And I showed it to you. I set up the campaign landing page on MegaPush and immediately saw the prospect.
Instead of writing this article in the "perfect" style like many other case studies, I will tell you what the truth is when running the campaign - you see, making money to buy a car is not easy.
Moving on, we continued to optimize, cut out ineffective placement, and left only the best ad resources.
Back in RedTracker, we see Operation DE with MegaPush sweepstakes.
We will block these 2 because of their low performance.
Looking at the campaigns, we block all, leaving only 2 (push allows only 1 ad per campaign, i.e., an angle per campaign).
The goal is that the EPC should exceed the CPC. We need to get rid of objects with no good results.
A day later.
At the end of the day, there is a good ROI that makes a little bit of profit. Are you stressed? Affiliate marketing is difficult. But perseverance will pay off.
So we got 1680 clicks from the tracker, and the price is $ 0.06 per click, so we spent $ 100.8 in traffic from MegaPush. And has generated $ 139.2 in revenue.
Actually, the revenue is bigger. And the tracker shows dollars, but we strangely pay Euros. Euros money is more expensive than dollars.
Whatever, let's say we get $ 2.9 per lead. That is, the revenue achieved is $ 139.2 - $ 100.8 = $ 38.4. That means ROI is about 38%.
HOW TO SCALE WIDE AND DEEP
After you've optimized the funnel, now the margins need to be increased, the scale is needed.
Wide-Scale: We can get the best system, then translate it into another language. First, ask the affiliate manager if the offer also allows running at any GEO. Then create a list of GEOs, GEO languages.
Moving on, bring the text from the landing page to the spreadsheet. Column A will be English, while columns B, C, D, E, F will be another language. Translating with Transey.com will be the cheapest. They have native speakers to translate.
String scale: you can bring the system that is currently working on the MegaPush traffic source and run on other traffic sources.
This is easy because you already have landing pages, images, and angles. You just need to bring in another traffic source and run it.
Just add traffic source to RedTrack, then duplicate, edit, replace Postback URL…. A few minutes is done.
