Now, we want to share with you about some reviews from member who used Kenshoo apps
- I am in a unique situation where, as a startup in early growth stage, we are working with a third party that runs/swears by Kenshoo KPO for SEM / Social (Fb/Ig) campaigns (literally running campaigns on autopilot and then letting Kenshoo do its thing). If we decide to take our campaigns back in house, we will no longer have access to Kenshoo (less we pay for it ourselves).
- I have experience with Kenshoo search. Its good but KPO isnt very effective if you dont have significant volume. I think its about 30 conversions a day and over 100 clicks. Curious to hear thoughts on Kenshoo for social. My company has very seasonal spikes. Different times for different sports events and small windows to promote so wondering if Kenshoo will be beneficial from that standpoint.
- Last I heard, kenshoo was having some issues tracking Safari ever since the launch of intelligent tracking prevention by Apple back in September. For my company, the estimation is 29% fewer conversions were tracked compared to what was captured by Adwords.
- Kenshoo user here - as pointed out, I wouldn't worry too much about it, its a doddle to learn (I'd even go as far as to say you'd likely be able to say you have experience with it, you'll probably be able to pick it up in a couple of weeks). An on top of that, largely a waste of time/money unless you're managing multi million $ eCommerce accounts.
- I use Kenshoo every day in a large agency setting. It's fairly easy to use and lightweight as well. It has features we were in dire need of like automated pacing, automated rollovers, and some special bid policy settings. It also has some nice reporting for if you have a lot of accounts.
- Cons: There are definitely some bugs. When importing a new campaign from Adwords you set the monthly budget, then it will automatically change your monthly budget to whatever your daily was times 30. Easy fix. Nothing major though.
- I wouldn't worry too much about it. A lot of agencies have different software that they use to manage their accounts like Marin, Kenshoo, Acquisio, etc. I was in a similar boat to you, having no experience with PPC software. I think you'll be fine as long as you display a willingness to learn it. The fact that you don't have experience with it shouldn't inhibit their ability to hire you.
- Can't give you any exact numbers, but our agency tested both, and eventually settled on Kenshoo. By my understanding, it is expensive, but worth it in our situation. It automates a lot of things that were taking up our time and allowed us to focus more on the true optimizations rather than silly things like pacing, rollover, etc.
- Acquisio had a very clunky interface that was built out of flash, but they had an html5 version on the way. Also, Acquisio didn't seem to do much that Adwords couldn't do. Kenshoo has some features that are very important to me like automated pacing, automated rollover, and a bid to position feature. It's also much easier to use than Acquisio was.
- If you're dealing with large accounts, DO NOT use Acquisio. I've personally used Kenshoo on a very large account and it was a huge time saver compared to DoubleClick. Kenshoo is very pricey though, so clients with limited funds may not be able to use it. I've heard mixed reviews on Marin. One of my past colleagues has used DoubleClick, Marin, and Kenshoo and highly recommends Kenshoo.
Final Verdict
All in all, Kenshoo is a brilliant application for small and medium firms that are failing to make a mark in the competitive market. Its flexible pricing strategy is a positive, which enables every company to place bids according. Hoping this Kenshoo review was of help.
