What is Recart?

If you build your Shopify store, you can use Facebook and Facebook Messenger as places where you can post your products. Although you do not directly post them to the app, both of them will show your listed Shopify products to people who visit your FB business page.

ReCart app was designed by merging the functionality of 7 different technologies allowing you to:

  • Display Facebook Messenger Marketing Messages
  • Push Add to Cart Popup Messages
  • Create & Execute Abandoned Cart Campaigns – Messenger, Email & Push Notifications
  • Push Notifications – Welcome Message & Instant Campaigns
  • Automatic Email Capture
  • Form Autofill – Only for Shopify Plus
  • Abandonment Analytics Console

Alright with that basic overview done, let’s jump into the various features and push our ReCart review a bit further.

Recart Main Features

As a marketing tool. Recart was made to use Facebook Messenger to its full potential.

Depending on how you use it, you can increase your engagement rates, turn your sales leads into a sale, make your customers feel valued, give them a personalized experience, and so much more.

Welcome Messages

Customers who visit your Facebook Page will receive a Welcome Message from you on their Messenger app.

This is a great way to break the ice. You can give them a warm welcome, thank them for visiting your page, and then also use this opportunity to tell them what makes your store special, or what you have to offer.

Push Add to Cart Popup Messages

These are pop-up messages that you can write yourself. In these messages, the customer will see a photo of your products, and then you can hope that they like it and that they add the product to their shopping cart.

Abandoned Cart Reminders

Shopify has a feature that lets you know if there are customers who added products to their shopping carts and then decided not to buy.

In your control panel, you can see a list of all these people and then send them a special message. You can make it personal by adding their names. After you do this, the Recart app will pop your message, along with the picture of the product they abandoned, in their Messenger app.

Apart from pushing this in the Messenger app, Recart allows you to push these messages on email, too.

Shipping Notification

Customers appreciate being notified about their purchase. With Recart, you can push a notification once you have packaged and shipped the items.

After sending it, the customer will receive a message telling him of the status of the shipping. This is not exactly a tracking app, but you can tell the customer that the package is on its way.

You can also add some important information like the date it will arrive, what shipping carrier you used, or if you have a tracking number that the customer can use.

How Much Does Recart Cost?

The app is not free. You need to pay $29 per month, but you can take advantage of the 14-day free trial.

This is a great deal considering it can make you a lot of money in return.

Recart App Review Conclusion

Get this app if you can afford to pay $29 per month. This is a small value to invest compared to the number of people that you can reach out to. This is also a lot less expensive than paying for advertising on a monthly basis.

Use the app to reach out to new people, push your promotions and campaign, and provide a great and personalized customer experience. And most importantly, use it to give your customers an effortless experience so they can shop on their Messenger app instead of your FB Page.
