What is SERPSim and How Can Help You With Your SEO?
SERPSim is nothing but a Google SERP simulator that allow you to introduce your Title and Meta descriptions and check what would they look like on Google.
It allows you to:
- Introduce your Title and Meta descriptions manually.
- This is a good option if you are building a Page or Post that is not published yet.
- Introduce an existing URL.
- This is the best option when you are checking preexisting sites.
There are plenty of SERP simulators, but why we chose SERPSim?
- It is simple.
- It is updated to Google’s current appearance.
- It uses pixels instead of characters.
This is an important aspect:
Google limits/ cut your Title and Meta description not by counting characters but the Pixels they need.
- It is not the same an “i” than a “Q”.
Commonly we say: 60 characters for your Title and 160 for your Meta description.
- 90% of the times, that is enough, but not always.
Technically Speaking:
- Titles should be shorter that 585 px.
- Meta descriptions should be shorter than 930 px.
Check how we exceeded the maximum pixels that would be shown.
The result we would have is this one:
This case, we check that there is no problem with our page Title and Meta description lengths.
All of this seems pretty obvious, but trust us: if you get used to check all your Titles and Meta descriptions before releasing your Publications, you’ll save a lot of time and effort.
