Introduction

If you are just starting out in the world of eCommerce, then you have probably heard of dropshipping before – and its popularity is only set to increase as the reach of the internet around the world continues to spread.

There are numerous options you can use when it comes to conducting your eCommerce activities, and you are likely beginning to narrow it down to the ones that seem most promising for your business and its future growth.

One of these options might be ShopMaster, which is among the good choices to consider when opening your online store. Like all others, it also has its own pros and cons you need to deal with – and in this ShopMaster review article, we will look at some of these and review whether it is worth your time and resources.

Shopmaster Review: What Makes It Worth Considering?

This dropshipping platform is quite the prominent player in the industry, and it allows you to make your store perfect for the task through the use of their tools.

The platform itself acts as a ready-made solution that is for dropshipping businesses that want to handle products from multiple stores, and use a network of different suppliers from anywhere in the world. In a sense, it acts more as a software that you can use to make your account and access its services, and it uses a model of monthly subscriptions to accomplish the task.

They have a wide network of suppliers they work with. These include stores such as Amazon, AliExpress, 1688, and many more – with the total number ranging by about 30 different websites. It also includes WooCommerce, eBay, Shopify, and Wish.

How Do You Operate Shopmaster?

The first thing to do is setting up your account, which is an easy task as you will provide all the necessary information.

Setting up your account is also free and you will get the Starter Package. The thing with the Starter Package is its so limited when it come to features, though it would be enough for you to get the feel of the platform.

Once this is done, you go to the dashboard and select the ‘Connect Store’ option. You can then have the ability to use a variety of websites you already use for your store, such as WooCommerce, Shopify or eBay, and so on.

Shopmaster Features

Like I mentioned near the beginning of this review, Shopmaster comes with a lot of features that will help you in the day to day running of your store by automating or semi-automating a lot of the dropshipping process.

These features include the following:

Importing products

You can easily import products from over 30 suppliers, there are a variety of ways to do this, as you can see from the image below, you can import products in the following ways:

  • Import products by entering the product URL
  • Import products through entering their ID
  • Import products through entering the product category
  • In the case of AliExpress, you can enter in the URL of an AliExpress store.

Although there are 30 suppliers you can import products from, I would only concentrate on the ones that have the full support of the Shopmaster automated features.

After you have imported these products you can edit the product description, images and them push them into your store at the click of a button.

Another thing to note is that you can import products in bulk, you just need to enter multiple product URLs or product IDs (up to 100 at a time) and the software will import all the data in one go.

Automated Pricing Rules

Shopmaster has one of the most advanced sets of product pricing rules I have seen in any drop shipping. There are three ways you can price products with Shopmaster, they are as follows:

Simple – This for beginners and is easy to set up, just increase the product price through a set percentage, multiple or a fixed amount.

Advanced – If you want a bit more flexibility with your pricing you use the advanced pricing rule feature. Here you will be able to set prices depending on your supplier’s price range.

Pricing Formula – Similar to the advanced pricing feature except here you can set different pricing rules for products from different suppliers.

The cool thing about this feature is that when the price is changed on the supplier side, this will be automatically reflected in your pricing rules.

Automated Inventory Updates

If you use suppliers from AliExpress, Banggood, Chinabrands, CJ Dropshipping or Gogomail, any product changes that occur on the supplier side will be automatically updated inside of Shopmaster. This will save you time and trouble from having to quickly make any changes yourself.

Quick Order Fulfilment

Fulfilling multiple orders a day would take a lot of your time if it was done manually, however, with Shopmaster, it can be completed with a few clicks and the best thing is, since you are dropshipping, everything is taken care of by your supplier.

Also tracking numbers are automatically sent out to your customers as soon as an order is fulfilled, this will save you time from having to manually assign a tracking number to each order where mistakes can be made and the wrong tracking data sent to customers.

Shopmaster Chrome Extension

If you are just going to be using AliExpress as your only supplier, you can use the Shopmaster Chrome extension to easily import any products you want at the click of a button.

Other Features

The features I mentioned above are the main ones that you will be using when you first start dropshipping with Shopmaster. However, there are way more features than the ones I have listed, in fact, Shopmaster has over 100 features that will let you do so much more with your dropshipping business. Most of these additional features are to help you scale your business and help you run it more efficiently.

Advantages

  • You have the chance to process orders with different suppliers according to availability of products and preferences
  • You can integrate with four platforms – eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce, or Wish

Disadvantages

  • If you are not a fan of paying monthly fees, the expenses can add up and become quite expensive to manage (especially if you are integrating more than two channels)
  • There are varying profit margins depending on the supplier you use, as well as product limitations
  • You do not have complete control over the products you are dropshipping, as some websites can supply inferior products to your customers

Final Thoughts

I will be honest with you, when I first heard about this software I wasn’t expecting much, its not as well-known as some of the other dropshipping apps and my initial thought was that it was going to be a simple dropshipping app with limited features. I was very wrong, it is one of the best dropshipping apps I have reviewed and is the most feature-rich. Some of the advantages it has over the other apps like Oberlo, Spocket and Dropified is the number of suppliers you can use to import products from and the eCommerce platforms you can sync with Shopmaster. It has fantastic support, great tutorial and free to use. It’s definitely worth checking out if you want to dropship using suppliers from China.
